Busy Brahman week of interesting discussions

Well last week was a busy one.
Monday 16th saw the Capricornia Chamber of Commerce meeting at Frenchville Sports Club. As well as our speakers – Helen Quaife from State Development and Jason Foss from Almost Anything, we had Michelle Landry and Matthew Canavan and some other senators in the room.
Most days I was dropping into The World Brahman Congress being held right here in Rockhampton. My son was working for a stud there and there was just so much to see.
Thursday morning was a great breakfast discussed hosted by Elders about “What’s around the corner? – Brahman supply & production” This was at the Rocky Leagues Club. I got a lot out of that discussion.
And Thursday night was spent at the PA Hotel at the “Get Fit for Change” workshop hosted by Small Business Queensland. That was an interesting night. Thanks to Michael from Bank of Queensland North Rockhampton for that invite.
Friday night was the Nobbs Cattle Company sale. What a spectacle they turned on. Over $400,000 raised in the sale of 22 lots.
